Service Fees

Service fee examples include:

• Shipping/Freight
• Donations
• Art materials
• Framing
• and more...

If a sub-category is active, you can add those service fees to sales.

How to use Service Fees in SAM

To add a service fee to a sale, type "SER-" into the item search (where you add artworks) and your list of available service fees will become available.

If you know what you're looking for, your search can also be more specific, for example, "SER-Freight".

GST for Service fees

With the exception of Donations and some licencing fee categories, all Service fees require GST.

However, when entering the price of a service fee to a sale, you will enter the Ex GST price as the system will recognise the item needing GST and add it to the total of the sale.
