SAM Web Plugin by Desart

Desart has invested in developing a new SAM web plugin, designed to make it easier for Art centres to connect SAM to their online store. It is owned by Desart, and custom developed for Art centres, new SAM and the APIv3. 

The plugin has been built with the goal of empowering Art centres to manage their own websites, with minimal fuss and cost, and maximum integration and time efficiency. 

The plugin connects your SAM data, stock and sales directly to your web pages through the SAM APIv3. 

There are 2 versions currently available for the popular e-commerce platforms, Woo-commerce (WordPress) and Shopify.

What is a Plugin? 
Plugins add functionality to your website without needing to do custom development. In this case, the SAM web Plugin by Desart extracts and displays data through the SAM APIv3 to your art centre website. It acts as a translator, deciphering the necessary information and presenting it in a meaningful, easy-to-understand way on a website. It imports inventory directly from SAM to your website, keeps stock levels up to date, and sends sales back to SAM in real time.

Set up and Install -  To install and setup the SAM web plugin by Desart, you will need to engage your own 3rd party web designer who has experience setting up ecommerce stores or for a small cost engage Desart's plugin developers, Digital 8 to install, setup and test it for you, ready to be handed back over for day to day control inhouse of your online sales at the Art centre.

• Import product details: fields that can be imported include Title, Details, Story,  sku no, variations, variation images, variation price, status, images and artist.
• Import artist details: fields that can be imported include Artist name, image, biography, Year born/died,  Place of birth, Community, language, Outstation.  
• Import Discounts from SAM for online customers to use.
• Send Shipping costs to SAM, utilise the platform shipping setup functions.
• Send costs to Service categories (Other) in SAM.
• Collect and store Customer details.
• Receive Sales directly into the SAM interface.

Pricing

The SAM web plugin by Desart is only available to Art centres. The following subscription fees apply.  

Plugin fees DO NOT include installation or setup; this needs to be done by a 3rd party web designer who has experience setting up ecommerce stores or for a small cost engage Desart's plugin developers, Digital 8 to install, setup and test it for you, ready to be handed back over for day to day control inhouse of your online sales at the Art centre. 

How do I sign up to use the SAM web Plugin by Desart?

1. The plugin is available as a user-pay subscription service directly to the Art Centre. Fees apply and are charged monthly. Fees must be paid prior to installation.
2. Complete the Web Plugin Order Form & EULA and email to help@sam.org.au 
3. Once your subscription is confirmed and paid, we will send you a link to download and install the plugin on your selected e-commerce platform, along with instructions for setting it up.
4. The plugin can then be installed and set up by your Art Centres web designer or developer.
5. Subscriptions can be cancelled with 1 month's notice.
